Performs and monitors varied and/or specialized diagnostic laboratory tests. Performs higher complexity testing including, but not limited to cytology, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry in addition to simpler testing such as urinalyses, blood counts, etc. Operates higher complexity laboratory equipment. May discuss results with physicians and/or laboratory management.
